Housing

Currently, many of our sisters live together in various apartments all across campus. For our chapter meetings on Sunday nights, we gather in different rooms of the Roaden University Center, or more commonly known as the UC. But that’s all about to change…and for the better!

Tennessee Tech is in the process of building a Panhellenic Building, also called the North Pod. Alpha Delta Pi, along with the other chapters in the Panhellenic Council, will be receiving their own suite within the building. This opportunity is very exciting for ADPi and we are extremely grateful to the TN Tech administration for giving us this chance to expand the Panhellenic side of Greek housing.

The Panhellenic Building has been approved and is slated to be completed in the fall of 2010. Site work and the design of the ADPi suite is well underway. The building will be located on Dixie across from the UC and between Pinkerton and New Hall. Each room will be available to be used for recruitment, meeting, sisterhood events, alumnae events, etc. Unfortunately the rooms will not include a living space (actual dorm rooms); they will, however, have a huge open room, a bathroom, and storage space. Incoming freshman in fall of 2010 will likely find themselves going through the recruitment process in the new Panhellenic Building next year.

We will also have the pleasure of decorating our suite and making it our very own! More updates will be made and information given as it comes along. In the meantime, you can check out the Residential Life webpage for any additional questions at the following link, http://www.tntech.edu/reslife/halls/New%20hall%20North.htm.
